In the next phase of sponsorship (which is already underway) we will be establishing services for schools whose parents are able to pay the fees per learner for the services. The subscription fees charged to the parents are the same that would be charged to an external sponsor, and are considerably cheaper than any other intervention currently available to parents.
The phase after this is to source sponsors on either a per learner, per grade or per school basis. In return for their support, sponsors will be offered branding and promotional opportunities on intervention material and resources.
All sponsorship is on a per learner per month basis. This sponsorship can be aggregated to all learners in a grade at a school, or all learners in a school. These funds are used to pay for the lessons, lesson materials and delivery and reporting structures used to deliver the services. Residual income from this is used to provide teacher training interventions, teaching aids and school resources.
All resources are distributed and circulated between schools to obtain maximum use where possible. All resources are centrally controlled from within our organisationís warehouse.
As soon as finances allow, we will insource accounting services from an accounting and auditing firm such as IQ Business Group, KPMG, or a similar international accounting and audit practice to ensure fiscal accountability and adherence to good accounting practice.
The final phase of sponsorship is to find sufficient sponsorship to supply this service to every learner in school in every province in South Africa.
